Does the vertical project work?

For anyone looking to increase their vertical jump or improve their physical quickness, The Vertical Project really does seem a little too good to be true.

Double Your Vertical Leap? is that even possible?

I remember when I first came across it about 6 months ago. I just flat out didn’t believe the claims. Double your vertical? What if I already had 45 inches? I’d get 90 inches? Get real. Life doesn’t work like that. Or does it? Once I’d seen the web page (click here to check it out) the whole thing kept nagging at me…

What if it did work? Was I missing out?

To be honest, I just ignored it. I just went about my business and tried to put it out of my mind.

It wasn’t until a buddy of mine got a copy of the Air Alert jump program, and actually saw some results, that I started to be interested. I’d always heard that it sucked big time, but if he could get gains from that, what could I get from The Vertical Project, which people rave about? He didn’t get huge results, but I noticed that when we were playing pickup games he was slapping the glass a little more and stuff like that. Also he seemed to get his fingers on my shots a lot more when we played one on one.

So anyway, I took the plunge and gave Luke Lowrey’s program a shot. There’s a guarantee where you get $100 bucks if you don’t get at least 6 inches. I could do with 6 inches, but I could do with a c note too so it was win win for me lol.

And do you know what? I got a gain of just over 2 and a half inches in the first 2 weeks.

No BS. Okay it’s not huge, it’s not like I could suddenly rise up and throw down on everyone at will, but it made a big difference to my game. I could suddenly grab the hoop with both hands, something I could never do before, and that gave me a lot of confidence…I was instantly a better rebounder and shotblocker, which I think was more to do with attitude, and that made me keep working.

Also, it made me a lot faster. That was the first thing I noticed. I’d like to say the first thing I noticed was me tracking down a loose ball and then flushing it on the other team’s big man, but it was nowhere near as exciting as that. I was just running to catch a bus. I caught it. I wouldn’t have caught it even a few weeks before that point.

But that was months ago. I’ve gained a lot more since then…I’m fully above the rim, and I’m not afraid to throw down…

So does The Vertical Project work?

Come and play me one on one…you’ll soon see.

If you’re looking to increase your vertical, this is just about the best thing you could wish for…

PS – I’m 5 ‘ 11 and I can throw down hard with two hands…can you do that?
