How Does The Vertical Project Work?

The Vertical Project, is the vertical jump improvement program devised by “world’s undisputed #1 vertical leap expert” Luke Lowrey. It’s possibly the fastest and simplest way for the average athlete to experience life-changing improvements to their vertical, not to mention help them shave almost a second from their 100m time.

But how does it work?

Traditional vertical leap training and other techniques to improve your vertical jump rely solely on one thing – putting your “jumping” muscles under increased stress, causing them to grow to compensate, which in turn causes you to be able to jump higher.

They do this by giving you extremely repetitive exercises. Most of them do anyway. You’ll see a few which use special footwear which causes your calf muscle to be continually overstressed, but for the most part these programs use bodyweight exercises – plyometric training as it’s known.

And the problem with all these approaches is that they’re wrong…dead wrong, in fact.

You see, while they are right to assume that an increased muscle mass will make the muscles stronger and therefore able to give more lift, repeating the same old exercises every single day is just about the slowest way you can go about increasing your muscle mass.

Instead, forget about the jump for a second, and just think of how you would go about building bigger leg muscles – the best way is to probably follow how the pro bodybuilders go about it right?

Any serious bodybuilder knows there’s a lot more to building muscle than the gym work alone…

…and that’s where The Vertical Project comes in. The Vertical Project DOES include exercises to increase your jump, but it also helps you make sure that every single exercise you perform gets you 100% of the maximum benefit possible.

And it does that by also including dietary advice and stretching plans.

Imagine how fast your jump will grow when you are feeding your leg muscles the exact foods they want to make them grow faster?

As far as stretching goes, let me tell you, if you are even slightly inflexible, you are putting a ceiling on your vertical jump. The more flexible you are, the better shape your tendons and ligaments are in, plus it means that every single inch of your muscle is ready to help you spring. Inflexible or stiff muscles are only able to flex reduced sections of muscle at a time. This will keep you on the ground like a ball and chain…

And that’s how The Vertical Project works – by applying super modern techniques and technologies to help every single athlete get the biggest vertical jump increase possible.
